Sustainable Tourism Partnership

In late 2006, a multi-stakeholder body was established to support and guide the implementation and regular review of a Sustainable Tourism Partnership Strategy for Victoria.  This forum, composed of representatives of key government agencies, tourism industry and non-government agencies, aims to build a collaborative and integrated approach amongst stakeholders at all levels to adopt sustainable practices and foster dialogue on key sustainable tourism issues.

The Partnership is chaired by Mr Roger Grant, Executive Director of Geelong Otway Tourism, and currently includes representatives from the following organisations:

1. Tourism Victoria
2. Sustainability Victoria
3. Department of Sustainability and Environment
4. EPA Victoria
5. Sustainable Tourism CRC
6. Victorian Tourism Industry Council
7. Tourism Alliance Victoria
8. VicWater
