We are asking business owners and operators to share their tips for running a successful company. It could be as simple as asking clients for their postcode or using feedback forms, or a more sophisticated business tool. We think that there are probably as many tips to be shared as there are tourism businesses in Victoria .

Victoria has some excellent large and small businesses – not all in the tourism industry – that manage to get the balance between keeping customers satisfied, having a happy workforce, and making a profit. If the entire Victorian tourism industry is to grow and thrive, all businesses should be striving to do this. Why? Because the tourism industry makes a valuable contribution to the economy – $10.6 billion according to the latest figures – and is a fast-growing source of employment, particularly in regional areas.
